My Story
I am originally from Cameroon, and my journey has been shaped by both hardship and purpose. At 11 years old, my life changed when my mother suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed for several years before she passed away. That experience taught me resilience early. It taught me how to keep moving even when life feels uncertain.
My father, a successful businessman in retirement, shaped my foundation through example. From him, I learned discipline, work ethic, and self-confidence. These values became the backbone of who I am today.
Growing up, I was exposed to challenging situations that forced me to mature quickly and develop leadership skills. I learned responsibility, adaptability, and how to grow through failure instead of being defined by it. Self-development became a way of life for me.
When I came to the United States, I had to adapt to a completely new environment. The culture was different, the language was new, and at times I felt isolated. But through persistence and the mindset I had built over the years, I overcame those challenges and came out stronger, more grounded, and more focused.
I arrived with one goal: to become one of the most in-demand bass players in Kansas City. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of performing with incredible musicians in the KC music scene, continuing to grow my craft and reputation.
Today, as a married man and family-oriented individual, my vision has expanded far beyond music. I now dedicate myself to empowering others. I love sharing my story and equipping people with the tools I’ve gained through experience: resilience, discipline, self-belief, and the ability to turn adversity into growth.
My story is still being written, but its purpose is clear: help others rise beyond their circumstances and step into their full potential.
